Our host Tim Phillips sat down last year with Anthony McGill, principal clarinetist with the NY Phil, to discuss his projects to increase racial representation including #TakeTwoKnees and his haunting arrangement of “America, The Beautiful.” They also discuss the impact of the pandemic on both of their performing lives, and we sample a recording of recent performance McGill recorded.
