Mt. Sinai Rosenwald School was established in Autauga County, Alabama, in 1919, to educate African American children. Mrs. Zenobia Marshall, President of the Mt. Sinai Community Center Rosenwald School, talks with Carolyn Hutcheson, In Focus host, about the history of the school. The National Trust estimates that only about ten percent of the 5000 Rosenwald School
buildings still exist across the South today.
