Author Neal Wooten shares his family story with Carolyn Hutcheson of In Focus for The Storyline book series.  His book is, “With the Devil’s Help, A True Story of Poverty, Mental Illness, and Murder.” Wooten’s grandfather was sent to Kilby Prison for murdering his
son-in-law in 1962, but he escaped and  was hunted by law enforcement for the rest of his life.  The family lived on Sand Mountain in northeast Alabama.
