Retired Colonel Bryan Morgan, whose military career included serving as the State Judge Advocate for the Alabama Military Department, tells his family’s flag story to Carolyn Hutcheson, In Focus host. His father was a page in the U.S. House of Representatives when Pearl Harbor was attacked Dec. 7, and President Roosevelt gave his “Day of Infamy” speech Dec. 8, 1941. The flag that flew over the House of Representatives was given to Morgan’s great uncle, Congressman Luther Patrick, and the family had it preserved. Today’s program is repeated from Flag Day, with an update.
