Today is the start of the wintering hummingbird season, and Fred Bassett, Master Bird Bander with the nonprofit HummingbirdResearch.net organization, talks with Carolyn Hutcheson of In Focus about the changes in hummingbird science.  Fred credits the TPR “citizen scientists” in our radio coverage area for their help documenting winter hummingbird visits each year.
