(<a href=\"https:\/\/today.troy.edu\/trojanvision\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TROJANVISION<\/a>) \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/troymedicalcenter.com\/\">Tr<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/troymedicalcenter.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">o<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/troymedicalcenter.com\/\">y Regional<\/a> has been named a top 100 Rural and Community Hospital by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chartis.com\/expertise\/rural-health\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Chartis Center for Rural Health<\/a> for the second year in a row.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;This is not an award that you pay for, this is one we received,&#8221; said Jonathan Sellers, Marketing and Communications Director. &#8220;They got the data through publicly available data, through quality, patient safety, and patient satisfaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;These are all things that we really pride ourselves on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At Troy Regional, employees say the daily work is not just about rankings; it&#8217;s about the care the patients receive every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/today.troy.edu\/trojanvision\/2026\/04\/09\/tpd-give-up-close-look-at-patrol-tactics-during-citizens-police-academy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>LOCAL NEWS: TPD gives up-close look at patrol tactics during Citizen\u2019s Police Academy<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;It stands out in Alabama because, we are so close knit and I just think that we hold ourselves to such standards,&#8221; said Rebecca Taylor, Human Resources. &#8220;We just love working and being in Troy, helping everyone here that&#8217;s a part of the community.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hospital staff say their mission is one that goes beyond the awards and focuses directly on those seeking care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I think it just goes to show the trust we have with our patients,&#8221; Sellers said. &#8220;That our patients trust the services that we are giving them, the quality of care that we give them while they&#8217;re here.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CEO Rick Smith credits the hard work of the staff and support of the city for this recognition.
