(<a href=\"http:\/\/today.troy.edu\/TROJANVISION\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TROJANVISION<\/a>) \u2014 The Troy community now has easier access to family\u00a0safety and development\u00a0resources after the <a href=\"https:\/\/today.troy.edu\/trojanvision\/?s=TRP&amp;submit=Search\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Troy\u00a0Resilience Project<\/a>\u00a0moved to a location on the square earlier this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.troyresilienceproject.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Troy Resilience Project<\/a> is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to supplying families with the resources they need to\u00a0maintain\u00a0healthy lives and family\u00a0dynamics.\u00a0Previously\u00a0located\u00a0in a house on South Brundidge Street,\u00a0the\u00a0organization has\u00a0relocated\u00a0to a storefront\u00a0on Market Street\u00a0in Downtown Troy. TRP Executive Director Maggie Doss said the\u00a0move has been a long time coming.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAt our previous location we were running out of space,\u201d&nbsp;Doss said. \u201cWe had our clothing closet on the porch every day,&nbsp;rain&nbsp;or shine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/today.troy.edu\/trojanvision\/2026\/04\/27\/troy-regional-named-top-100-rural-hospital-for-second-year-in-a-row\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>KEEPING IT LOCAL: Troy Regional named Top 100 Rural Hospital for second year in a row<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;This kind of\u00a0just\u00a0allowed us to have a whole side of our building focused on the community. It also gives us the other side for our more clinical services:\u00a0our therapy and things like that.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The move benefits more than just the\u00a0organization\u00a0itself. The closer proximity to downtown\u00a0Troy makes\u00a0services and resources more easy for families to access when they&#8217;re in need.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt also has made us a little but more accessible to people&nbsp;in&nbsp;walking distance,&#8221; Doss said.&nbsp;&#8220;It\u2019s&nbsp;not that much&nbsp;further,&nbsp;but there&nbsp;are&nbsp;already people in this area who are walking on&nbsp;foot&nbsp;but now&nbsp;we\u2019re&nbsp;just a little bit closer.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The address of the new location is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/100+Market+St,+Troy,+AL+36081\/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x888decf639f0d00b:0x246bc27dc126eae1?sa=X&amp;ved=1t:242&amp;ictx=111\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">100\u00a0South Market\u00a0Street<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TROY, Ala.
