Trojan Football alum DeMarcus Ware was back on campus on the fifth anniversary if DeMarcus Ware Day in Alabama to announce a new partnership with his alma mater. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ware unveiled his new fitness app “Driven to Win” at a press conference in the Trojan Fitness Center. Proceeds from the app will be given to TROY Athletics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The app was developed by Ware who received a computer science degree as an undergraduate at Troy University. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ware says that he was excited to be able to offer a new fitness option and be able to help out the school he played for. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Now I have the opportunity to come back here to Troy to put that in everybody’s hands, alumni, students, athletes, you name it, and the proceeds get to go back to Troy University,” says Ware. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was also announced on Ware’s return to campus that the University Bookstore will now offer officially licensed #94 Trojan Football jerseys with Ware’s name on the back for the first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
