(<a href=\"https:\/\/today.troy.edu\/trojanvision\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TROJANVISION<\/a>) \u2014 As another academic year begins at Troy University, several events have been planned to usher students into a successful fall semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Saturday, Aug. 10<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Move-In Day<\/strong>: Students who live on campus will receive their keys and access to their dorm rooms. Check-in times are staggered. Students have been instructed to check their emails for check-in times. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bid Day:<\/strong> Sorority bids are announced at 10 a.m. in the Elm Street Gym. The Bid Day Run from the gym to the sorority houses will take place immediately after. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sunday, Aug. 11<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Move-In Day<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Monday, Aug. 12<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Move-In Day<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Term 1 Begins: <\/strong>Term 1 online classes will begin. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tuesday, Aug. 13<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Odyssey New Student Convocation:<\/strong> Begins at 3:30 p.m. in Trojan Arena. This convocation launches new TROY students on their pathways to graduation. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Trojan Night Out: <\/strong>Students meet representatives from Troy University&#8217;s student groups and organizations. The event will be held on Tailgate Terrace in front of Veterans Memorial Stadium from 4 p.m. \u2013 7 p.m. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wednesday, Aug. 12<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This is the first day of classes for the Fall 2026 semester<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/today.troy.edu\/trojanvision\/2026\/08\/07\/getting-packed-up-here-are-some-last-minute-tips-for-move-in-weekend\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>MORE FOR YOU: Getting packed up?
