(<a href=\"https:\/\/today.troy.edu\/trojanvision\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TROJANVISION<\/a>) \u2014 In this week&#8217;s College Football 27 simulation, Troy dominated both sides of the ball in a 17-0 beating of Alabama State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/troytrojans.com\/sports\/football\/roster\/goose-crowder\/12080\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Goose Crowder<\/a> would be the Player of the Game, as the sixth year quarterback threw for 195 yards and two touchdowns. <a href=\"https:\/\/troytrojans.com\/sports\/football\/roster\/howard-kinchen\/12151\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Howard Kinchen<\/a> would be the recipient of both touchdown passes, as he would finish the simulation with four catches for 39 yards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Along with Kinchen, four other Trojans had double digit receiving yards, those being <a href=\"https:\/\/troytrojans.com\/sports\/football\/roster\/mojo-dortch\/12082\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mojo Dortch<\/a> (53 yards), <a href=\"https:\/\/troytrojans.com\/sports\/football\/roster\/jackson-worley\/12121\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jackson Worley <\/a>(39), <a href=\"https:\/\/troytrojans.com\/sports\/football\/roster\/tj-lott\/12132\">TJ Lott<\/a> (30), and <a href=\"https:\/\/troytrojans.com\/sports\/football\/roster\/gavin-griffin\/12146\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Gavin Griffin<\/a> (12). Griffin would also lead the team in rushing yard with 69.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Hornets would come close to scoring twice, but would fail both times. In the first quarter, Alabama State would kick a 54-yard field goal that would go wide left. Later in the fourth, the Hornets would be on Troy&#8217;s 13-yard line, but would turn the ball over on downs after a failed 4th down attempt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The only non-touchdown score of the game for Troy would come at the end of the second half on a chip shot field goal from 19 yards out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Trojans and Hornets face off in real life on Saturday inside Veterans Memorial Stadium at 3.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TROY, Ala.
