It had to held on the softball field due to renovations taking place at the Soccer Complex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The camp not only teaches the fundamentals of soccer but also includes different activities and games for the children related to the sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trojan coaches and players worked directly with the campers, which junior forward <a href=\"https:\/\/troytrojans.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/taytum-terrell\/9373\">Taytum Terrell<\/a> says makes for a fun experience for everyone involved<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I can just say personally for me, it made me have more energy and just have more discipline,&#8221; says Terrell.  &#8220;Because as you get older it gets more serious but other than that it&#8217;s just fun.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be one more youth camp held July 12-16. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trojansoccercamps.com\/youth-camp.cfm\">Registration<\/a> is open until July 11. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Information on all camps taking place at <a href=\"http:\/\/troy.edu\">Troy University<\/a> can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.troy.edu\/community-outreach\/camps\/index.html\">here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the full story watch Simon&#8217;s report. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Trojan Soccer team spent this week teaching the sport to some younger players.<\/p>\n<p>The team held the first of two youth camps for children ages 4-13 this week at the Trojan Softball Complex.
