{"id":2558,"date":"2022-02-24T23:52:46","date_gmt":"2022-02-24T23:52:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/today.troy.edu\/trojanvision\/?p=2558"},"modified":"2022-02-24T23:53:20","modified_gmt":"2022-02-24T23:53:20","slug":"international-arts-center-exhibit-features-the-work-of-troy-university-professor-will-jacks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/today.troy.edu\/trojanvision\/2022\/02\/24\/international-arts-center-exhibit-features-the-work-of-troy-university-professor-will-jacks\/","title":{"rendered":"International Arts Center exhibit features the work of Troy University professor Will Jacks"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/troy.edu\">Troy University<\/a>&#8216;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.troy.edu\/student-life-resources\/arts-culture\/international-arts-center\/\">International Arts Center<\/a> is now home to a new exhibit featuring artwork from Troy University art and photography professor Will Jacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exhibit &#8220;Absolute Rest&#8221; focuses on non-traditional photography and how Jacks took a new approach to the medium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;It is an exploration into photography and different ways to approach it,&#8221; says IAC Curator Carrie Jaxon. &#8220;He is a very talented traditional photographer but in this particular series he dives into examining a new way of presenting a different technique.
