Read all about it! <a href=\"http:\/\/troy.edu\">Troy University<\/a>&#8216;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.troy.edu\/academics\/colleges-schools\/college-communication-fine-arts\/departments\/theatre-dance\/index.html\">Theater and Dance<\/a> department is bringing &#8220;Newsies&#8221; a musical based on the Disney film classic to the stage of the Claudia Crosby theater. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The show will run March 3-6 and the cast and crew are excited about the opportunity to bringing the show to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We have been working on newsies for almost three months now and it has been off and on three hour to four hour nightly rehearsals,&#8221; says Cast Member Jacob Brooks. &#8220;Newsies, I think, is a great example of a young generation finding it&#8217;s time to take a stand and stand up for its rights. Stand up for the way the world should work moving forward because they are facing a lot of oppression.
