Office of Civic Engagement<\/a> Lauren Cochran says that the objective is for kids to learn about their community, different careers and how they can be superheroes by regarding others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n“We hope that through this week kids have a great time but they also learn about our government, our processes our systems and learning about how to be a good citizen,” says Cochran. “We incorporate games and activities into our programming and so we hope they have a great time but also that it’s very educational for them as well.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
