On Wednesday the U.S. House of Representatives voted to impeach President Donald Trump for a second time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The historic vote comes a week after the attack on the capitol building by protestors following a pro-Trump rally. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and professor of political science Dr. Steven Taylor spoke with TrojanVision’s Seth Feiner about this historic time in American politics giving his take on what is going on and what could potentially happen as a result of this vote. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt’s a complicated mess. It’s not going to be resolved quickly,” said Taylor. “I know there always calls for a quick resolution but Congress doesn’t move quickly period and the fact that they’ve moved this quickly to impeach him is actually a sign of the severity situation but it’s also easier to impeach than it is to do anything, to do the removal part.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
