(<a href=\"https:\/\/today.troy.edu\/trojanvision\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TROJANVISION<\/a>) \u2014 Troy University <a href=\"https:\/\/www.troy.edu\/academics\/colleges-schools\/college-arts-sciences\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">College of Arts and Sciences<\/a> held a Law School Career Day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students interested in a career in law got to talk to law school representatives from around Alabama and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We have a lot of students that are interested in going to law school so we bring law schools to TROY,&#8221; explained Pre-Health Profession Advisor Janet Gaston.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students were able to talk to representatives from different schools and find out what to expect if they were to attend there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;They get a lot of good information about admissions, the types of law that they specialize in at those schools and how to apply,&#8221; Gaston said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to the law schools, representatives from the Troy University <a href=\"https:\/\/www.troy.edu\/academics\/academic-programs\/accelerated-law-program.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Accelerated Law Program<\/a> were in attendance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;They can go three years here and they can go to a partner university,&#8221; Gaston told TrojanVision. &#8220;They can go there or they can graduate with a degree and go to law school anywhere.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Gaston, the career day not only gave students networking opportunities but also sharpened skills they can use later in their career.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TROY, Ala.
