(<a href=\"https:\/\/today.troy.edu\/trojanvision\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TROJANVISION<\/a>) \u2014 Students grabbed their games and got the chance to meet new people at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/TroyISCO\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">International Student Cultural Organization<\/a>\u2019s (ISCO) game night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe had snacks, games, and fun meeting new people,\u201d said new President Haley Morgan. \u201cI think it\u2019s important to show people what we\u2019re here for.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This event was a relaxed way for students to socialize and have fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe started playing domino\u2019s, and three moves into it, I lost,\u201d said Morgan. \u201cI couldn\u2019t make any more connections and I was done. So I just sat there as the referee, making sure everyone was playing straight.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the new semester in full swing, ISCO strives to bring international and domestic students together through fun events like this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Morgan continued, \u201cIt really introduces a bunch of new people into what ISCO is. I think we got the word around really well and made a good impression.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With a newly-elected board and revised constitution, ISCO\u2019s main goal this semester is to focus on growing its numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe fell off during COVID. Some of us who came right after know that there used to only be four of us,\u201d Morgan explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most importantly, ISCO members say they want to create meaningful connections between students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cReally, it\u2019s just about bringing the students together and meeting all the new exchange students who came in.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To make sure you don\u2019t miss future ISCO events, you can follow them on Instagram @isco_troyu.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TROY, Ala.
