(<a href=\"https:\/\/today.troy.edu\/trojanvision\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TROJANVISION<\/a>) \u2014 With the beginning of the new year, TROY&#8217;s Psychology Club wanted to help students visualize their goals for 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students created their vision boards by picking out the elements that stood out to them and represented what they want out of the new year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYou get pictures from old magazines, newspapers, scraps of paper, and you put them all together to create a visual representation of your goals,\u201d said Psychology Club President Meagan Chaudron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI just picked the things that really spoke to me and the kind of vibe I wanted,\u201d said Amani Hicks, a student who attended the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vision boards help students plan out their goals in a visual way and give them something to strive for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYou kind of plan out your life based on your goals, so I think they\u2019re super important to have,\u201d said Chaudron. \u201cI always try to have some goals and really set what I want to accomplish each year.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This event also showed students that planning your goals can be fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hicks said that \u201ccreating a vision board is very stress-relieving and makes your day go by.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Psychology Club usually has events on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. in Hawkins Hall 107.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TROY, Ala.
