Fortunately, the Trojans were able to take back a redeeming game three.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/today.troy.edu\/trojanvision\/2024\/03\/22\/troy-baseball-hosts-inaugural-student-homerun-derby\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SPORTS NEWS: TROY baseball hosts inaugural Student Homerun Derby<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;It was just a really good tough, gritty win by our guys,&#8221; said Head Coach Skyler Meade. &#8220;I expected nothing less of these guys, they were neck and neck all series.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After their 6-6 road trip, the Trojans can finally settle in back home again. The team has another game on home turf Tuesday afternoon at 3:33. The Trojans won&#8217;t hit the road again until Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I look at my bag and I go, &#8216;Okay, I can at least start to unpack this thing&#8217;,&#8221; Meade said. &#8220;We&#8217;ve had the same clothes, and uniforms, and roadies for weeks.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Home field <a href=\"https:\/\/troytrojans.com\/sports\/baseball\/schedule\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">action continues<\/a> when the Trojans take on Florida A&amp;M at 3:33 p.m. Tuesday at Riddle-Pace Field.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TROY, Ala.
