Troy University’s Trojan Outreach was recently recognized for it student wellness education efforts on the TROY campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Trojan Outreach was named am Outstanding Peer Education program by National Association of Student Personnel Administrators for their work during Interpersonal Violence Awareness Week in October 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Trojan Outreach routinely puts on events to help promote wellness on campus like the Clothesline Project which was part of the effort recognized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The goal of Trojan Outreach is to educate student on topics not often cover in classrooms by getting word out among student body. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Trojan Outreach means community,” says Peer Educator Jace Mitcham. “It means going out getting involved with other students and helping them know more about topics that a lot of people don\u2019t discuss.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
