Troy University\u2019s new Chief of University Police, George Beaudry, is cleaning up in his first weeks on the job initiating an effort to rid the campus of old and abandoned bikes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was inspired by seeing a rusty abandoned bike chained up behind the campus police station. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m having a conversation with some of the other officers on campus, and they told me that there\u2019s probably 16 to 17 bicycles that are in similar condition spread throughout the campus,\u201d said Beaudry. \u201dSo that kind of made me think we take this opportunity to clean up the campus.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
