On the final day of the Trojan Classic, the Trojans had no losses, Belmont had no wins and Briana Bailey tossed a no-hitter in her first career start for the Trojan Softball team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bailey struck out six batters and allowed just two walks combining her unhittable pitching with adequate run support by the offense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Trojans only needed five innings to shut down the Bruins eight to nothing notching a 4-0 start to the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“She has a lot of experience but to be able to come in and have her first TROY debut and it be a no-hitter,” says Head Coach Beth Mullins. “She was solid, I mean it was from inning number one to inning number five.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
