(<a href=\"https:\/\/today.troy.edu\/trojanvision\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TROJANVISION<\/a>) \u2014 The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/TroyISCO\/?hc_location=ufi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">International Student Cultural Organization<\/a> (ISCO) brought out the games for a night of fun, laughs and competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe had snacks, we listened to music and we had some board games,\u201d said ISCO President Nautica Morgan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students enjoyed Trivial Pursuit, Loteria, Incohearent, Chess and Hot Takes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As one of the club\u2019s first events of the semester, organizers said the game night helped ISCO stay true to its goal of bridging the gap between domestic and international students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhen I went to bingo night, I met a wonderful group of Korean and Japanese students that I hang out with all the time now,\u201d Morgan said. \u201cGames really help lighten the mood.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/today.troy.edu\/trojanvision\/2024\/09\/16\/shackelford-wins-inaugural-shack-quad-olympics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>HAPPENING ON CAMPUS: <\/strong>Shackelford wins inaugural Shack Quad Olympics<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Morgan says social events help students meet new people they may not meet otherwise. She hopes the club can continue to reach new students and foster international connections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHopefully, we will get a bunch of people interested in the club and be able to spread our little fingers throughout campus a bit more,\u201d Morgan said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before the games began, ISCO also held elections to fill its remaining executive positions. The organization introduced its new board on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ISCO\u2019s next event will be the annual <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/photo?fbid=1042791317855770&amp;set=a.502106355257605\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Peace Walk<\/a> in honor of International Day of Peace. That will be Thursday, Sept. 19 at 6:30 p.m. in front of Hawkins Hall. The walk will end in front of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/internationalartscentertroy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">International Arts Center<\/a>&#8216;s Peace Dove. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TROY, Ala.
