Troy University students learned about Korean culture through kicks and punches at the International Students Cultural Organization’s Taekwondo night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Troy University’s International Students Cultural Organization routinely holds events to expose TROY students to elements of cultures from around the world and at their last meeting ISCO had students getting a workout by learning the traditional Korean martial art. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The evening was a part of ISCO’s traditional culture nights but also in partnership with TROY’s International Programs which routinely offers a number of physical activity events for students to enjoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“With the pandemic happening we’ve been trying to set up classes for students that are socially distanced but at the same time making sure that we’re taking care of our mental and our physical health so once a month we’ve been having an exercise class,” says Kathleen Freed, Advisor for International Programs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
