TROY, Ala. (TROJANVISION<\/a>) \u2014 Troy University is currently conducting a brand refresh with the help of a professional marketing firm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carnegie<\/a>, a higher education marketing and enrollment strategy firm, came to campus to film the University’s new brand anthem video. A brand anthem video is meant to display an organization’s mission and core values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We are shooting all week,” Ian Strawn, Senior Vice President of Creative for Carnegie said. “We are getting both video and photography. Afterwards there is going to be a lot of editing, choices, musical choices, voiceover and all of those type of things to put it together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Then, we bring that work back to the decision makers here, and we’ll go through a couple rounds of revisions. Ultimately, we will produce our vision. We will bring our vision to life. We cut it up in a variety of ways, and we place it in different medias.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the key goals of the commercial shoot was for there to be student involvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Everyone is doing what they normally do by and large,” Strawn explained. “It is the magic of life here on Troy that we’re capturing on screen.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the commercial debuts, the university hopes potential students feel as though their dreams can become realities at Troy University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I want students and prospective students to see themselves in the work,” Strawn told TrojanVision. “To have this feeling of possibility that if they come here with their dream, if they come here with their aspirations through hard work and determination, they will be supported in that effort here. It will help them get success.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the filming of the brand anthem video is now complete, it will still be a few months before we see the results as the crew begins the editing process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several other areas on campus served as locations for different scenes such as the International Arts Center, John Robert Lewis, and the Arboretum. Troy University students representing their programs and areas of study were cast as the talent for the video shoot.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
