TROY, Ala. (TROJANVISION<\/a>) \u2014 The semester is quickly ending, and some students are finding it hard to make their Trojan Points last to the end of the semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With finals already underway, some students are trying to make their food choices count as they are running out of points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I have 0.2 cents left,” said Freshman Heather Roberts
“I have zero. I haven’t had any since February,” said Lewis Bell, a junior.
“Zero. I haven’t had any since January,” said Junior Chelsey Townsend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This shortage of points is affecting most students regardless of their meal plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I started with the nine swipes and 500 Trojan points,” commented Roberts.
“I am off campus, so I have the commuter plan,” explained Townsend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

END OF THE SEMESTER: Students prepare for final exams<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, some students have been more resourceful with their points and still have enough to get them through the semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I have 100 points left,” said Connor Curnutte, a senior. “I have a very low appetite, so I have way more than I need.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students running low on points said that they have other options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Since I have the nine swipes a week, I can eat at Saga. I am good on that,” said Roberts.
“Our friends look out for us, and I have been using my money,” commented Bell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the semester ending on May 14th, students are hopeful that their only worry is about their finals and not where they get their next meal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A reminder that any remaining Trojan Points students may have will expire at the end of the semester, which means they will not carry over into the fall.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
