(<a href=\"https:\/\/today.troy.edu\/trojanvision\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TROJANVISION<\/a>) \u2014 As students work their way through the middle of the semester, and oftentimes midterms, some may be looking for ways to improve their mental health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The stress of midterm season is falling on students yet again. During this time of the semester, students become overwhelmed with heavy workloads and preparation for midterms.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although students should prioritize their academic success, mental health is also important to take care of. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.troy.edu\/student-life-resources\/student-resources\/outreach-intervention\/trojan-outreach.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Trojan Outreach<\/a> Peer Educator Sam Lawson encourages students to take advantage of some of the resources they have to offer\u00a0students.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSome stress relief tips we have&nbsp;are going on a walk or just talking to someone, friends, family, really anyone,\u201d Lawson said. \u201cHaving quiet time, putting your phone down, maybe reading a book I know no one really likes to read nowadays but I mean just kind of getting away from your phone and just getting away from everything.\u201d &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/today.troy.edu\/trojanvision\/2025\/10\/21\/trending-app-causes-controversy-on-troys-campus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>CAMPUS NEWS: Trending app causes controversy on Troy\u2019s campus<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although students are taking the time to focus on achieving midterms and excelling in their classes, they are also taking time for themselves.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt reminds me that classes are not all that\u2019s going on, and so I can kind of you know chill out,\u201d said Kayden Blevins, a freshman at Troy. \u201cClasses aren\u2019t the end all be all. You have to kind of zoom out sometimes instead of being so focused in.\u201d \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students emphasized the importance of maintaining their mental clarity. Danyael Vera shared one of his favorite ways to relieve the stress of the midterm season. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cRelax, just relax,\u201d Vera said. \u201cTake some time for yourself.
