TROY, Ala. (TROJANVISION<\/a>) \u2014 Troy\u2019s campus saw many high school seniors explore campus on Tuesday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The occasion was for Admitted Students Day, a time for future Trojans to visit campus and learn about their academic college.\u00a0Senior\u00a0Director of\u00a0Enrollment Services\u00a0Gus McKenzie said the day serves as a\u00a0time\u00a0for students to\u00a0get acquainted\u00a0with\u00a0their future home.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s\u00a0all about the connections that they make,” McKenzie said. “They\u2019re\u00a0making friends from other schools that they may not know yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This is a good opportunity to meet other Trojans as well as their future professors and advisors.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students also visited their future departments. TrojanVision News welcomed a group of over twenty parents and students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pelham High School Senior Curran Bradley will come to Troy in the Fall of\u00a02026. He plans to major in Broadcast Journalism\u00a0in order to\u00a0build on what\u00a0he has learned in high school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI took a broadcast\u00a0class in high school just to see what it was like,” Bradley said. “I took the class and I fell in love with it. I want to keep learning and improving.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to department visits, students also met current Troy students.\u00a0McKenzie, who is\u00a0a\u00a0Troy\u00a0alumnus, said he enjoys seeing the next generation of Trojans\u00a0interact with their future peers.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFor me,\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0exciting,” McKenzie said.\u00a0“It\u2019s\u00a0a year\u2019s worth of recruiting and telling people about Troy, and most of us in the admissions office are all Troy alums. We have wonderful stories to share when we see students connecting with each other here on campus.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It\u2019s\u00a0just really cool to see what\u00a0we\u2019ve\u00a0been telling them\u00a0come\u00a0true.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
