(<a href=\"https:\/\/today.troy.edu\/trojanvision\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TROJANVISION<\/a>) \u2014 High school students were able to explore what could be their future school during Troy&#8217;s recent Admitted Student Day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Monday, admitted students visited different departments across campus, met faculty and staff, spoke to current Troy students, and met fellow incoming students. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Meeting some girls here that are doing the same thing as me, majoring in broadcast and minoring in communication, has really influenced me a lot,&#8221; prospective student Maddy Chames said. &#8220;I feel like going to Troy now.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One group of students toured Wallace Hall, which is home to the Hall School of Journalism and Communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kiawanna Clark, Troy&#8217;s North Alabama Regional Recruiter, said &#8220;This group of students are very eager and they really want to see what TrojanVision is about and I think this is a great opportunity to learn hands-on.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/today.troy.edu\/trojanvision\/2026\/02\/17\/hall-school-of-journalism-and-communication-partners-with-pike-county-academy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>RELATED NEWS: Hall School of Journalism and Communication partners with Pike County Academy<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tour also gave parents the opportunity to learn about what their child&#8217;s future college campus has to offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I feel very confident that we are able to make an informed decision about her college choice,&#8221; said Vergil Chames, father of a prospective student. &#8220;It&#8217;s been really good today.
