TROY, Ala. (TROJANVISION<\/a>) \u2014 Tuesday morning, Troy Regional Medical Center<\/a> (TRMC) officially unveiled its new logo, marking a fresh chapter in the hospital\u2019s branding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new look was created by\u00a0Studio 207<\/a>, a multimedia company founded by a group of Troy University alumni while they were still undergraduate students. According to hospital CEO\u00a0Rick Smith, the partnership began after a recommendation from a university professor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“One of the professors said, \u2018Hey, you need to look at this group, they’re a startup company,'” Smith said. \u201cI believe we were their first clients. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It\u2019s been a great relationship, you see the branding all over town.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reanna Thompson, CEO of Studio 207, explained that while the new exterior signage is already in place, updates inside the hospital will take more time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new logo aims to underscore the hospital’s idea of, “healthcare close to home<\/a>.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Every single sign inside the building will change,” Thompson said. “Right now, the first floor is in the process of being changed; all the signs have been printed.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to budget constraints, the hospital will complete the interior rebranding in phases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Thompson, the unveiling represents more than just new graphics, it reflects the company\u2019s growth and impact over the past two and a half years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This is signage everywhere; it touches everyone,” she said. “They [staff members] all have pins on their heart with the logo on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Thousands of people are going to see this every day, it\u2019s not something we take lightly.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Smith noted that TRMC has been named one of the top 100 rural hospitals<\/a> in the nation and is the only hospital in Alabama to receive that distinction. He said he hopes the updated branding will further highlight the medical center\u2019s continued commitment to putting patients first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
