On the 55th anniversary of one of the worst fires in US history, Troy Public Radio’s Carolyn Hutcheson speaks with Kyle Gassiott about a new podcast telling the story of the fire and its aftermath. When Dale’s Penthouse Restaurant caught fire on a cold February night in downtown Montgomery, no one knew just how quickly the fire would spread and the devastation it would create. Twenty-five people lost their lives and numerous others were saved by the brave actions of restaurant staff.
