Military historian Daniel Haulman is challenging a lot of what we think we know about the Tuskegee Airmen.

Haulman has recently published a book on the subject, titled Misconceptions About the Tuskegee Airmen: Refuting Myths About America’s First Black Military Pilots.

In 2019, Daniel Haulman retired as head of The Organizational Histories Branch at The United States Air Force Historical Research Agency

He has authored many books and published dozens of articles on aviation history and is considered a foremost expert on the subject of the Tuskegee Airmen.
