TROY, Ala. (TROJANVISION) — Those in attendance said It was a night filled with glitz, grace, and Trojan pride inside Claudia Crosby Theater as 14 contestants competed for the title of Miss Troy University 2026.

Each contestant took the stage to showcase their talents, confidence, and school spirit. But by the end of the evening, only one could take home the crown: Anna Grace Tucker.

“I don’t think I’m going to sleep tonight,” Tucker said. “I’m probably going to sleep with the crown on and the sash, and I’m just excited to do my duties as Miss Troy this year.”

Organizers and judges praised Tucker for her experience, poise, and representation of the Trojan spirit.

“We are so thrilled about Anna Grace Tucker,” said Leslie Scrushy, Associate Vice Chancellor for Marketing and Communication. “She’s been to Miss Alabama before, so this will be a comfortable experience for her. I’m looking forward to working with her and having her be an amazing representative for Troy University.”

For the university, the annual pageant is not just about competition; it is also about growth and opportunity.

“I’m so proud of her and all the other 13 contestants,” said Chancellor Jack Hawkins. “It was a fun, growth experience for all. This university believes in its students and that this is a wonderful way for them to prepare for the next step.”

Before taking that next step toward Miss Alabama, Tucker said she planned to celebrate in true Troy fashion.

“I want to go to Mexican with my family so we can just talk about this over chips and salsa,” she said with a laugh.

Tucker will go on to represent Troy University at Miss Alabama in 2026.’
