Perspectives Policy

TROY Today proudly features commentary and analysis by TROY faculty, staff, students and alumni or other guest authors. “Perspectives” articles represent the views and opinions of individual authors only, and do not necessarily reflect the views and opinion of Troy University or its administration.

We welcome submissions for “Perspectives” articles. Submissions should be no longer than 800 words and should focus on subject matter relevant to Troy University, its students, alumni and campus communities. Additionally, faculty members are invited to provide balanced analysis and commentary on issues and events relevant to their areas of academic expertise.

Send submissions in the body of an email (not attachments) to news@troy.edu. All submissions will be considered, but TROY Today reserves the right to reject submissions for any reason.

Although social media is a 24/7 medium, our moderation capabilities are not. We may not see every inappropriate comment right away, and we are trusting in the maturity of our community to ignore personal attacks and negative speech or respond politely.
