TROY, Ala. (TROJANVISION) — As another academic year begins at Troy University, several events have been planned to usher students into a successful fall semester.
Saturday, Aug. 10
- Move-In Day: Students who live on campus will receive their keys and access to their dorm rooms. Check-in times are staggered. Students have been instructed to check their emails for check-in times.
- Bid Day: Sorority bids are announced at 10 a.m. in the Elm Street Gym. The Bid Day Run from the gym to the sorority houses will take place immediately after.
Sunday, Aug. 11
- Move-In Day

- Term 1 Begins: Term 1 online classes will begin.
Tuesday, Aug. 13
- Odyssey New Student Convocation: Begins at 3:30 p.m. in Trojan Arena. This convocation launches new TROY students on their pathways to graduation.
- Trojan Night Out: Students meet representatives from Troy University’s student groups and organizations. The event will be held on Tailgate Terrace in front of Veterans Memorial Stadium from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 12
- This is the first day of classes for the Fall 2026 semester

In addition the events above, the Troy University Welcome Week Committee will also hold several events throughout the first week of school.
