There is a new way for Troy University students to stay connected with what is going on around campus, a phone app called Studium.

Studium is a new app for smart phones that is designed to be a portal for information about what is going on campus. It will also allow students to connect to one another in a way much like popular social media apps like Facebook and Twitter.

“The Studium app is kind of like and all-inclusive app that I kind of think of as a mix between Twitter and Facebook and then Group Me,” says SGA President Nicole Jayjohn. “Its got all different aspects from each of those so you can connect with other groups and organizations, you can keep up with the events going on on-campus, you can connect with other students that are in your major and form study groups.”

TROY’s Student Government Association is in the process of getting students on board with the new Studium app by encouraging students to download the app and log in for information about on-campus activities.
