The Troy University library presented Dr. Dan Puckett with the University’s Book Token Award for the support he has given to the University’s libraries.

The annual award recognizes faculty who provide service to and support of Troy University Libraries.

The award was presented to Puckett, a Professor of History, in a ceremony in the library on January 27th.

“I am very grateful for it. I value the library,” says Puckeet. “In fact, on any university campus, the library really is the center of campus. It’s what we do. It’s what we have to do as faculty members and students. We rely so much on the library and the librarians to do our jobs.”
