Troy University’s International Student Cultural Organization is trying to find a new normal during the time of COVID-19.
ISCO normally meets every Thursday night during a tradition school year but that has been affected due to social distancing restrictions.
ISCO is one of many Troy University student organizations that are struggling with how to allow their groups to meet for activities in person.
ISCO had their first in-person meeting of the spring semester last Thursday and are looking for more ways to get students involved safely.
“We’re going to be trying to plan events on Thursday nights,” says ISCO President Jackson Kiger. “We’re also trying to expand our digital presence with our Facebook page and our Instagram page and I know capacity is limited when it comes to in-person events so we’re trying to expand our digital presence as well and offer a digital option to stay COVID safe.”
