TROY students learn about how to become an IMPACT leader.

Tuesday night a group of Troy University students took their first steps toward becoming an IMPACT Leader this summer.

An interest meeting was held in the Troy University Admission’s Office to inform students about what it takes to become a leader in the school’s annual freshman orientation sessions known as IMPACT.

Every summer a group of Troy University students are selected to become leaders of the orientation sessions.

The students selected will be some of the first people incoming freshman associate with TROY so Admissions wants to make sure they get the right people for the job.

“Their IMPACT leader is that face that they go in the fall,” says Assistant IMPACT Director Birdie Norris about the connection leaders have with students. “This person really cares about me that I connected with and I am excited for that to be replicated with my friendships I will have in college.”
