Troy University students learn Qi Gong meditation techniques

Troy University student learned a Chinese martial art designed to help them fight… stress.

TROY’s International Student Services held a Qi Gong class to introduce students to meditation techniques to help ease minds and bodies.

The class was taught by Chinese graduate student Wenbo Goo who says that Qi Gong is not the typical martial art.

“It is a kind of Chinese Kung Fu but it’s a little different,” say Goo. “It’s more focused on the body health more than the attack or defense part. It’s really friendly for the beginner the posture and the positions they are simple.”
