Troy University’s Small Business Development Center and IDEA Bank held an open house Friday morning which included a ribbon-cutting to showcase some of the changes that have taken place in the facility located in Downtown Troy.
As a part of the open house students set out tables showcasing small businesses that were created with the help of the IDEA Bank.
The open house also showcase what the SBDC can offer individuals that are looking to create or expand their small businesses.
“We want to support economic development by helping small business owners,” says SBDC Director Juliana Bolivar. “To get started developing marketing strategies, go international with the international trade center or even acquire government contracts with our procurement team.”
