‘Einstein!’ aims to show new side of Albert Einstein

TROY, Ala. (TROJANVISION) — Thursday morning, the Troy Arts Council will welcome local third and fourth graders to Troy University to watch the one-man show “Einstein!

The show stars Jack Fry as Albert Einstein who tries to prove his theory of general relativity while dealing with family issues. Fry, who wrote the script for “Einstein!”, said the production shows how the theoretical physicist got his “crazy” hair and became the cultural icon the world knows today.

“It’s Einstein coming back from the beyond explaining why he’s back and why his feathers are ruffled,” Fry told TrojanVision. “He has a very important to tell that’s not only about his professional struggles, but also his personal struggles as well, and what he had to do to usher in our modern technological age that many of us enjoy.”

The third and fourth grade show will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday. A second performance for the general public will begin Thursday night at seven. That showing will also be inside Claudia Crosby Theater. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased via the Troy Arts Council‘s website.
