‘Hear Me Out’ on Troy Public Radio’s newest podcast

TROY, Ala. (TROJANVISION) — Hear me out: everyone has said that while arguing with their friends at one point. Now there’s a podcast for it.

Troy Public Radio is now hosting a podcast where discussing what you’re passionate about is the whole point.

“‘Hear Me Out’ is a podcast where you can argue with your loved ones about the things you love to basically convince them to like the things you like,” said Reana Wallace, the podcast’s host.

The idea stemmed from everyday conversations between radio coworkers.

“I was just talking about the movie ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’ and every day we also argue about different, anime, books, and movies,” Wallace explained. “We’re always talking about it and convincing each other, ‘Hey why should we watch this movie? Why should you read this book? Why should you watch this show?’ and we were just like ‘why don’t we just make a podcast about that?”

The podcast covers a myriad of topics including movies, anime, social media and campus activities. Additionally, it’s open to the public.

“I would like to invite anyone, if you would like to come and share your opinion you are welcome to record an episode of Hear Me Out. I will say that the unique nature of this podcast is that anybody can come to the station and record an episode and just argue with their friends.”

Hear Me Out will begin streaming July 4 with an episode discussing “K-Pop Demon Hunters.”
