TROY students reflect on John Lewis’ role in their right to vote.

Every day Troy University students walk past a building named for civil rights leader John Lewis and a few give their thoughts on what he means to them and their right to vote.

“John Lewis influenced a lot of African-Americans to be able to vote in today’s time,” says Kendrez White, Troy University senior.
