Troy University Police Department gets grants aimed at making campus, officers safer

A $150,000 grant to the Troy University Police Department will result in safer surroundings on the Troy Campus. 

Provided through the U.S. Dept. of Justice, the money will be used to add CCTV cameras at Veterans Memorial Stadium, purchase a mobile camera trailer for additional coverage during University events, and enhance the personal safety equipment…
