ArtSPARK returns to TROY’s International Arts Center on Saturday

ArtSPARK, which began in 2021, offers area children and families the opportunity to interact in a creative environment.

ArtSPARK, which began in 2021, offers area children and families the opportunity to interact in a creative environment.

Troy University’s International Arts Center will host ArtSPARK on Saturday, May 20, offering free hands-on art projects and activities for area children.

The event will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday and is designed for pre-K and elementary-aged children, but open to children of all ages.

Jones remembered for her passion to help TROY students succeed

Tamara Jones, shown here speaking during her retirement reception, passed away on April 21.

Tamara Jones, a Troy University alumna and a member of the TROY staff for more than 30 years, passed away on April 21. She was 65.

Funeral services were held April 25.

Jones retired in January of 2021 as Assistant Dean of Student Success after 32 years of service to the University.
