The second annual Alabama Higher Education Suicide Prevention Conference is scheduled for Sept. 10.

The conference is to be facilitated by Troy University faculty members Dr. Kanessa Miller Doss, Dr. Sherrionda Crawford, and Dr. Shelley Reed, who have been in charge of the Suicide Prevention Program since it was introduced last year.

Bibb Graves Hall will be renamed John Robert Lewis Hall in honor of the late congressman from Pike County.

The Troy University Board of Trustees voted today to rename historic Bibb Graves Hall at the Troy, Alabama, campus in honor of U.S. Congressman and Civil Rights leader John Lewis.

The name change is effective immediately, and the building will now bear the name John Robert Lewis Hall.
