Alumna and former Assistant Dean in the Sorrell College of Business Natalie Bryant recently assumed the role of Associate Provost for Academic Administration at Troy University.

In the role, Bryant provides strategic support to advance the academic mission of the University, including overseeing the tenure and promotion process, faculty personnel matters, policy and procedure, operations, special projects, and strategic planning. Additionally. Bryant acts as an advisor to the Provost, ensuring effective implementation of the Provost’s priorities.

“I am excited about the addition of Natalie Bryant to our leadership team in the Division of Academic Affairs,” said Dr. Kerry Palmer, Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. “Natalie’s background in law, coupled with her prior administrative experience as an Associate Chair and more recently, an Assistant Dean in the Sorrell College of Business, made her an ideal candidate for this important position. Natalie has already hit the ground running, helping me administer the daily operations of this large, dynamic division as we steer our institution into a complex and challenging future. I am glad to have her at my side.”

Bryant earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from TROY in 2007. After graduation, she worked for United States Senator Jeff Sessions before attending law school at Florida State University College of Law, where she graduated with her Juris Doctorate in 2011. After practicing law for a couple of years, Bryant joined the TROY faculty in 2013 as an Assistant Professor of Business Law, and in 2020, she was promoted to Associate Professor and Associate Chair of the Department of Management, Human Resource Management, and Law. In 2023, she was named Assistant Dean in TROY’s Sorrell College of Business overseeing strategic initiatives, marketing and communications, and Sorrell College’s external centers.
