Troy University will pay tribute to the nation’s military and veterans on Saturday, Nov. 22 when the Trojans play host to Sun Belt Conference-foe Georgia State at Veterans Memorial Stadium for the Military Appreciation Game. Kickoff for the game is set for 3 p.m.

Teams create real-world solutions in annual TROY Hackathon

Nineteen teams competed in the annual 24-hour coding event.

Nineteen teams competed in the annual 24-hour coding event.

More than 80 students and 19 teams competed in the Department of Computer Science’s annual Hackathon competition, a 24-hour coding event where students tackle real-world issues.

Students began arriving at Patterson Hall on the Troy Campus at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8 for check in followed by an opening ceremony and a description of the projects.
