The winner of the Trojan Heart Challenge chooses a charity that will receive a check for $1,000.
Troy University’s commitment to compassion and service can be seen in its founding motto: “Educate the mind to think, the heart to feel and the body to act.”
A joint effort of the John W. Schmidt Center for Student Success, Student Involvement, Student Government Association, Tropolitan, Civic Engagement and TROY First Lady Janice Hawkins, this challenge aims to collect and share the stories best reflecting the Trojan Heart of Troy University students, faculty and staff.
Each submission should name a person who has done a good deed for someone else and briefly state why this act deserves recognition.
The winner of the TROY Trojan Heart Challenge will be asked to choose a non-profit charity to receive a $1,000 prize donation.
Nomination forms, which are due by March 31, can be found along with more information at troy.edu/trojanheart.
